'A sophisticated urban playground'

In 2015, we collaborated with Cornwell on the marketing collateral for Gurner’s most audacious development. Breathing new life into Fortitude Valley, an area of inner-Brisbane which had yet to experience an offering on this scale, FV consists of three majestic towers designed by Elenberg Fraser to evoke the architecture of a traditional Queenslander, but with a luxury highrise update.

This is a project where the often-used "resort style living” promise is delivered upon, with a range of opulent facilities and services. Our role was to introduce this new level of luxury, both for a local and international audience.

We began by looking at language used in luxury resorts around the world before writing copy to complement Cornwell’s sumptuous design. As well as FV, we wanted to highlight the Queensland lifestyle and give a snapshot of a city on the rise. Our copy has been since been used online, in sales tools and in advertising both locally and abroad.

The first two FV towers sold out in 12 weeks, and the premium building, appropriately named No 1, sold out in just six weeks. Building has now commenced on a project that will cement Fortitude Valley as Brisbane’s next must-visit, inner-city precinct.

Although based in Melbourne, we are used to writing about property and lifestyle in other cities. We have worked with Cornwell on multiple projects in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. Like FV, many of those projects are precincts, which feature a master placemaking brand as well as separate releases.

In fact, Cornwell is our longest standing client. Not so long ago we sailed past job Nº 100, with FV just one of many highlights.
